Our Mission
The Hamilton County Community Tennis Association (HCCTA) provides
tennis and educational programs in Hamilton County, Indiana, for players of all ages,
abilities and socio-economic backgrounds. Formed in 1990, the HCCTA
exists to teach our players a lifetime love of physical fitness, the
value of good sportsmanship and the importance of giving something back
to the community.
During the school year, we sponsor after-school tennis programs in
six public school systems involving over 500 elementary students. During
the summer months our tennis programs continue in various Hamilton
County locations for kids and adults. We award college scholarships to deserving students and promote
education and community service activities to give something back to our
community. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization with the philosophy to
"Create champion citizens, not champion tennis players."
How you can help
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations from others to fund
our programming. We also rely on our volunteers to help accomplish our
programs. We invite you to join our friendly group as a volunteer in one
of our many events, programs, or activities. Please contact Helen
Petersen at 317-844-1177 or
Helen.Petersen@hccta.org for more information.
