2007 College Scholarship Winners
The 2007 HCCTA Scholarship winners are Britney Anderson (Westfield High School), Kevin Murphy (Carmel High School) and Andrew Nguyen (Carmel High School). The scholarship is based on academic achievement, tennis accomplishments and HCCTA Community Service. Each scholarship recipient received $750, except Nguyen. His community service was so outstanding that the HCCTA Scholarship Committee awarded him the HCCTA Community Service Award, earning him an additional $500. Of the 56 students who have received scholarships in the past 12 years, Nguyen was the first student to be cited for extraordinary community service.
