The Hamilton County Community Tennis Association is a non-profit organization sponsored by corporations, the United States Tennis Association, program fees, and individual donations. It is through the generosity of our sponsors that we are able to deliver high-quality educational and tennis programs to the community. We maintain an endowment to fund our scholarships, community service, and other activities and we are always seeking donations to grow our programs and provide more community service. United States Tennis Association Grants The Hamilton County Community Tennis Association has received grants from the USTA Tennis and Education Foundation to fund pilot programs in Hamilton County which promote student volunteer work and our reading programs. The goals of both programs are to involve youth from different cultures and backgrounds, expand an promote leadership roles for youth in the community and to develop partnerships with community organizations. Other Fundraising Activities The Hamilton County Community Tennis Association raises funds throughout the year through a variety of programs with our members including raffles, sweepstakes, auctions and other activities. Our high school players and other volunteers help with these programs. For several years now we have offered very exciting prizes in our raffles.
Raffle and US Open Ticket Winners HCCTA raffled off terrific tickets to the US Open in both 2005 and 2006. In both years the lucky winners were seated in the President's box and they had a fantastic view of world-class tennis. Jeff Haake and Sue Shea were the lucky winners in 2006. In 2005, Christa and Chris Adkins, at right, won the tickets. We'll announce our next raffle on this website.
