Summer Tennis Programs
Since 1992 the Hamilton County Community Tennis Association has offered summer tennis programs bringing fun, fitness and friendship to public tennis courts near you. The program gives players an opportunity to compete in a team environment that is fun, new and challenging. Summer Instructors 2007

HCCTA Tennis Director Marilyn Atkinson conducted a training session at Carmel Racquet Club for the tennis instructors before the '07 summer session began. Instructors must also be First Aid and CPR certified.
Indianapolis Community Tennis Association Court Party
HCCTA participated in the Indianapolis Community Tennis Association (ICTA) Court Party on June 3 at the Barbara S Wynne Tennis Center at North Central High School. HCCTA conducted a short court activity on one of the courts. The Court Party is a free event that provides tennis games for players of all ages and non-tennis games--face painting, moon walk, ping pong, dunk tank. The Court Party promotes tennis awareness in Greater Indianapolis and raises funds for the ICTA. Assisting HCCTA were students Alicia Cousins (Carmel High School girls tennis), Christine Rubeiz (Carmel High School girls tennis), Tyler Witsken (Carmel High School boys tennis) and Travis Mandrell.

December 2006 After School Tennis Celebration

Kids learned about valuable life lessons from Tim Clark, the Director of Youth Sports Outreach for the Indianapolis based National Youth Sports Corporation.	Jack Robinson and Jared Jimenez, both of Hoosier Road Elementary, team up with Conor Corken, at right, of Prairie Trace Elementary, in a game of "Tennis Sandwich."

Girls from a variety of Hamilton County schools are all smiles about tennis.	Steven Maler builds his tennis skills in a fun way by hitting balls through a hula hoop for points.
